Donation Process

  1. Contact us to discuss your potential donation and confirm it meets our current needs.
  2. We'll coordinate pickup or delivery arrangements for physical items.
  3. Receive acknowledgment including a description of the donated items for your tax records.

Tax Deductibility

In-kind donations to Bay Tides may be tax-deductible. The IRS allows donors to deduct the fair market value of donated goods. For donations valued over $250, we will provide a written acknowledgment. For donations over $5,000, an independent appraisal may be required.

We recommend consulting with your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific donation.
